FAQ
PATRON RESPONSBILITIES & FAQ:
We know that you will have questions about how this works. We’re happy to provide answers! We’ve anticipated a few, which are below, and we will continue to update these FAQs. For more clarification, feel free to call the Box Office at 412-431-2489.
Where is Hazelwood Green?
Hazelwood Green’s main entrance is located at the intersection of Hazelwood and Second Avenues. It can also be accessed from Blair Street from Second Avenue. The address for Hazelwood Green is 4734 Second Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15207. Upon arrival, follow the City Theatre signs to the Mill 19 location.
What time will the performance start?
All festival performances begin at 8pm. To ensure all audience members have a pleasurable experience, late comers will not be admitted. Doors open at 7pm, so arrive early! Most performances end by 9:45pm at the latest.
How many people can I have in my vehicle?
While you can have up to 4 people in your vehicle, the best viewing and audio will be from the front seats.
How much are tickets?
All tickets are per person. Tickets are $20 for subscribers and $25 for non-subscribers. Children under the age of 7 do not need a ticket.
I am a subscriber. How do I use the money on my account?
When you decided to attend a performance, simply call our box office where Joel, Abigail, or one of our Box Office Associates will transfer your money into tickets.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
NO, due to Wi-Fi limitations of the space, all tickets MUST be purchased in advance. Ticket sales will end at 5pm on the day of the performance.
Can I sit outside of my vehicle?
For everyone’s safety, we are encouraging our patrons to remain inside their vehicles for the duration of the performance. Guests are permitted to sit outside of their vehicles in their assigned space; however, they must maintain all social distancing requirements and masks are mandatory if you are outside of your vehicle for any reason.
Are the parking spaces assigned?
NO, spaces will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis; gates open at 7pm. Cars will be parked head-in only. Those attending in larger vehicles that may block the view of others (trucks, SUVs, vans) may be required to park in designated spaces towards the back of the lot. Oversized vehicles such as RVs and trailers are not permitted.
What if there is inclement weather?
We are actively monitoring the weather to ensure the safety of our patrons, artists, and staff. Performances will proceed in light/moderate rain as long as there is no lightning in the area. In the event of severe weather, cancellations will be decided by 4pm on the day of the performance and all patrons will be notified by e-mail. We will do our best to reschedule cancelled performances.
What is the set-up?
The drive-in will take place in a large parking lot located at Hazelwood Green. There will be a stage for the performers with a large screen adjacent to it with live simulcast projection of the show. Audio will be transmitted through your FM radio. To ensure a safe experience, vehicles will be parked in a staggered configuration, with space between cars, allowing for ample physical distancing between our guests.
Will there be restrooms available?
Yes, we will have portable restrooms on-site as well as hand–washing stations. Sanitizer will be available in each toilet. Frequent cleaning will be provided throughout the event. Physical distancing must be maintained while waiting in line and wearing masks are required.
Are concessions available?
We will not be selling concessions, though we do encourage you to bring your own snacks! We ask that you take all trash with you at the end of the evening. Alcohol and smoking are prohibited on site.
What are the COVID-19 Precautions?
We strictly follow all CDC and Health Department guidelines and we are doing everything in our power to ensure that everyone (artists, staff, and audience) remain safe during this experience. We require that you wear masks and practice physical distancing if you are outside of your vehicle to ensure the safety of those around you. As a general rule, if you are not feeling well, we ask that you join us another evening.
