ABOUT

City Theatre will host a virtual panel discussion celebrating Black History Month and pay tribute to some of the great Black artists who have shaped the Pittsburgh artistic landscape. Honoring the late theater-maker Dr. Vernell A. Lillie, actor Don Marshall, and choreographer Bob Johnson, we bridge generational gaps through learning, teaching, and uplifting those of the African diaspora who have offered excellence to the American theater. Hosted by Bria Walker and Monteze Freeland, with special guests Tome’ Cousin, Etta Cox, Shakara Wright, and Brenden Peifer. Featuring a musical selection from Pastor Deryck Tines.
