COVID SAFETY POLICIES (updated 10-17-22)

For the remainder of the 2022-2023 season, City Theatre will not require proof of Covid-19 vaccination. Masks are currently optional (though welcomed and available) when attending a performance of The Wanderers, What the Constitution Means to Me, Native Gardens, and American Fast. Masks are required for all performances of Til Death Do Us Part: Late Nite Catechism 3.

However, recognizing that there is a wide spectrum of comfort level regarding the spread of Covid-19, City Theatre will offer multiple MASK REQUIRED PERFORMANCES during each production. On these performances, food and drink may be purchased and consumed in the Gordon Lounge only; drinks are not permitted in the theatre for these performances.

City Theatre continues to monitor guidance from local and national health authorities, agreements with its three collectively-bargained theatrical unions, and field-wide best practices. We continue to consult with local venues to find alignment on the most practical and impactful health and safety policies for staff, artists, and audiences. City Theatre reserves the right to update and alter its Covid-19 health and safety policies at any time.

City Theatre requires all staff, artists, and volunteers to be fully vaccinated from Covid-19 as a condition of employment; and we encourage our audiences to be vaccinated and follow the recommendations of the CDC as we work together to keep our community safe.
